Brody's First Birthday Portraits!

Little man, Brody just celebrated his first birthday. He was having so much fun playing in the garden....the smiles on his face speak volumes! But not much can compare to diving into your first birthday cake. Needless to say, the garden hose was required at the conclusion of the cake demolition! Happy Birthday Brody! We hope all your birthdays will be this much fun! Hugs, Susan and Stewart

The Brannan family - at home with great kids & cars

On location family portraits is a specialty of ours. It always is fun and prrsents us with some interesting challenges.  Finding a good "prop" is always good. As we unloaded our car I saw the mystery sports car under a tarp. We had a great session with five grandkids, parents, children and grandparents. Then we fired up the beautiful, "authentic replica"  Shelby Cobra GT for a few photos.  That may be an oxymoron. Good times. Stewart & Susan

The Ladies of the Gainesville Solutions Bridal Designer House

Some days I get to do work that cannot be called work. Such as creating new "mugshots" for the beautiful and elegant ladies employeed at the Gainesville Solutions Bridal Designer House. The manager Tali asked me to make these images of the girls for their website and other purposes. Truthfully - I would have had to work to make a bad photo with subjects as lovely as these. Good times - Stewart

Sondra & Michael - Beautiful and Fun

This wedding is a wonderful combination of candid, fun, classic and illustrative imagery. Susan and I had so much fun working with Sondra & Michael -we love "picture people". Sondra loves photos. So we created a lot of them. Over 880 for them to select from. The Sweetwater Branch Inn was a perfect location for the preparations, portraits, illustration in the gardens and reception. Then over to the Baughman Center for more illustrative images and the ceremony. A great day! Thanks for the experience - enjoy this sneak peek. Susan & Stewart

It was hot so we used the covered porch at the Inn with the
lovely gardens in the background.

I like this candid image captured immediately after the newlyweds kissed and
walked out of the building. Michael's sons are congratulating him.

The great hunt for the special brick!

Bridal party antics at the stadium. It was raining - so we did the best we could.

I needed a waterproof camera for this photo of Dale and

The Breakers - West Palm Beach - Juliana & Chris

Susan and I photographed as a team with Mario Munoz to cover a recent event at the Breakers in West Palm Beach. These photographs are wedding details and environments where we photographed. It is such a beautiful place that it literally takes your breath away. We plan to post a movie about the people side of the event. Susan and Stewart

The floor of the large dance area was a hand painted canvas in hydrangea theme.

There was an event painter working to paint a large canvas of the actual reception.

The canopy raised over the dance floor was entirely woven of cherry blossoms in full bloom.

The after reception dance party from 12:30am till 4am was in a room made to look like a dance club.

Celebrity and the beautiful bride - Becky meets Joaquim Noah

Our wedding this past weekend was with Becky and Dale. On our way with the bride to the Univ. Auditorium we met Mr. Joaquim Noah as we exited the Hilton Hotel. He posed for a photo with Becky and complemented on her beauty and her lovely gown. He was a great sport and he wished Becky "good luck" as she commented "you really are tall."
More of this event at another time - Stewart & Susan

We will have more photos soon - but one more to show you this was the fun fun fun wedding. Dale with his G-men showing a bit of enthusiasm for the delightful Becky jumping into their group photo.

Elegance in the country

Ginney and Jeff were married in one of the most adorable, quaint churches we have ever been in! The beautiful simplicity of the wood floors and the incredible window light made it a magnificent setting for such a georgeous wedding. And then they had such an elegant party....down the longest dirt road! But that didn't stop all their friends from coming to out into the woods to celebrate with these two beautiful people. We wish them all the best in the future! Hugs, Susan and Stewart

Kristin and Taylor tie the Knot

We wanted to share a very special event with you. Our daughter Kristin and her love Taylor were married on March 20th at the Thomas Center. Taylor has been part of our family for almost 12 years already...lots of you know him from when he was in high school and started assisting us at weddings, some of you might remember that he was our (awesome!)digital artist for the studio for years while he was in college. We just get to make it official that we can claim him!
It was a beautiful breezy spring day filled with everything that makes life good. Family, friends, food, champagne, cotton candy and music. OK I know you are dying to ask.... who did the photographs? Our dear friends Tom and Mario Munoz from Munoz Photography Ft. Lauderdale made these incredible photographs. There is no question that they captured the fun and the beauty of this day! We are so greatful to our dear friends who all quietly worked behind the scenes to make this such a perfect day. Thank you Gail, Melissa, Brenda, and Angela you are all truly angels! Our team was world class! Kudos to Stewarts Catering for their incredible service and going the extra mile to make incredible vegan food, Betsy Gardner and her amazing team at the Plant Shoppe for taking our breath away, Barb Kerkoff for the magic of her harp in the garden, Chad Reed for his loving words and being a true friend, and Kathy and Erica at KB Kakes for the carrot cake to beat all carrot cakes. You all made this a day beyond memorable! So I made a little video of the whole day...ENJOY! Namaste... Susan

Recent Weddings - Angela & David Pt.3

Ali has a play day in the garden!

Ali's mom and dad have a job that has taken them from Gainesville to Chicago. Mom had always wanted to create a portrait of Ali while they lived here but a crazy busy schedule never let that happen. So when a trip to visit family brought them within 100 miles of here, she decided to make a special trip to have her portrait made. We were able to show her the portraits the same day so she could select them before she left to go back to Chicago! Ali had a great time playing...she must have caught a hundred bubbles! We had a great time photographing....Ali made our day! Hugs, Susan

Recent Weddings - Angela & David Pt. 2

The photos tell the story - love and fun. It was a terrific wedding in every way. Look for lots of kissing, twirling brides, romance, cheers, gators, duo-tone photos, rock climbing, IF b&w photos, Vikings, stadiums, and a heavy petting ending. Some classic poses and some modern bride fashion.  -   Stewart

Recent Weddings - Angela & David Pt. 1

David loves his lady Angela and she is a beauty. They are a great couple and recently had a terrific wedding at the Baughman Center and a reception at the Best Western. Susan and I and our assistant Amanda had a great time photographing this wedding. There is mucho visual variety with our typical two camera/view Editorial coverage plus Amanda with the infrared camera.
Look for lots of kissing, twirling brides, romance, cheers, gators, duo-tone photos, rock climbing, IF b&w photos, Vikings, stadiums, heavy petting, etc.  Some classic poses and some modern bride fashion. Plus a great photo by the groom when he picked up the IF camera for a few snaps.   Stewart
